Green xl set against Rainrot works extremely well against the Dutch rain scabies but with scabies it actually has nothing to do. Scabies is caused by mites. Rain rot, on the other hand, results from a bacterial infection. The culprit is dermatophilus congolensis, a bacterium first noticed in a bovine in the then Belgian Congo in 1910. That's also where the name comes from which is where the Green xl set against rain rot is ideally suited.
Treatment:
Wear gloves to carefully remove the scabs and immediately deposit them in the rubbish bin. Best thing to do is to put your horse in a dry stable and avoid sunlight.
Shampoo against Rainrot:

If your horse is in good health, it is important to keep your horse from being infected by bacteria. Clean all accessories with Green XL Universal Cleaner that you use when riding, such as caps, boots, brushes, blankets, etc. Because Universal Cleaner contains at least 50 million good bacteria in its probiotics, it ensures that the food source of the bad bacteria is completely eliminated.
