Description
Why do horses need herbs?
Horses are naturally used to travelling kilometres sometimes for one specific herb. We, unfortunately, often cannot offer those herbs all in one place and not every herb grows on every type of soil. Unfortunately, it is not feasible for many people to adequately support their horses in this need, simply because there is not enough space/pasture. In order to give our horses the best possible base and meet their basic needs for vitamins, minerals and trace elements as much as possible.
It is important to give herbs (in the most natural way possible) to the horse and see what you can do as an owner to bring the ration back to natural nutrition as close as possible.
Bird's eye (Stellaria media): is a low, annual plant in the carnation family (Caryophyllaceae). Its flowering period is from January to December. The plant is often widely branched, but has only one root system. The 3-40 cm long stems are green or red. The leaves are green, ovate with a pointed tip, and often stemmed. The flower bud is strongly hairy. Bird's wallow grows in fields, gardens and ruins.

Use of herbs for horses safe or not?
Horses respond particularly well to herbs. Herbs balance, balance the body but never go over the indicated dosage.
By using herbs, improvement in the health status of animals progresses gradually, especially when the discomfort or problem had been present for some time.
However, it is wrong to assume that anything natural is harmless! Some herbs can be highly toxic. Giving herbs together with regular drugs could possibly counteract the effect of the drugs or cause complications such as severe colic.
